Sing what you need to say…

04

July

I was walking alone by the alley towards my car, rains are pouring, dripping sounds can be heard. Suddenly i love the raining breeze, I slowed down my pace and overheard a guitar sound came out from a corner. I saw this young boy sitting by the stair case playing his guitar. Honestly, I am not sure what he sings. I just sit aside and enjoy the rhythm. This a way of relaxing yourself.

guitar1

This is not really an XY chromosome post, but maybe it’s fated for me to bump into this young boy, so I will just will give him an exposure on my blog :)
guitar2

When I first approach to him, he was a bit blur of what I am talking. Maybe my engrish is too broken, so i continue the conversation in malay. He’s wearing a school t-shirt, stating “Rosli Dhoby”, a form 5 student.

guitar3
His name is Zulhilmi, hopefully i didn’t spell it wrong.  2 years old guitarist.

I did asked why is he playing guitar there alone, he answered me it was just for fun. Maybe this is what we call, life of an artist? I did not manage to catch up with him further as I was rushing for aerodance class.

Thought of the day.. Sing what you need to say..

Instead of say what you need to say, maybe we can choose to sing what you wish to say. A song can represents you, speaks for you.

“Say” by John Mayer

Take all of your wasted honor
Every little past frustration
Take all of your so-called problems,
Better put ‘em in quotations

Say what you need to say [x8]

Walking like a one man army
Fighting with the shadows in your head
Living out the same old moment
Knowing you’d be better off instead,
If you only could . . .

Say what you need to say [x8]

Have no fear for giving in
Have no fear for giving over
You’d better know that in the end
Its better to say too much
Then never say what you need to say again

Even if your hands are shaking
And your faith is broken
Even as the eyes are closing
Do it with a heart wide open

Say what you need to say [x24]

When somethings that really cannot solve, no matter how many times you say, it remains unsolved..
eg: xxx is writing a message.. but then.. erasing the msg.. and came out nothing.. cos its really hard to say…

XY chromosome – Meet the guitarists

03

July

Hey hey.. this is the first XY chromosome premiers on goolooloo.com. I’ll hunt for the XY *males* meanwhile HB will go for the XX *females*. This is call co-operation, berkerja-sama, did i spell wrongly?

Like i mention before, I will start hunting for XY at Delta Mall, easiest way for me. Coincidence, J came to my shop, looking for some cool gadgets. I know J since 2 years ago, when he bought an O2 Atom from me. He left me a very deep impressions, mainly he don’t look like any typical SIBU FOOCHOW people.

XY #1 J the Guitarist. He says don’t reveal his real name wor…

guitarist

Isn’t that he looks cute?
J is a guitarist. He teach guitar at home, so basically he is quite popular around Sibu.

*Girls, he is not available, sorry~ He loves his gf a lot! So, only for viewing purpose. Cuci Mata. kekeke

Told you, he is popular.
Just a few minutes standing in front of my shop, here comes the student of his.

XY #2 Clarence, guitarist student. Clarence

2 guitarist

J told Clarence, if he let me take his photo then I’ll give him 50% discount on all items.
Of course Clarence know its a joke. ;) He is smart, not like some silly fish……

XY #3 Clarence and the Cousin, AMOS.

cousin
AMOS is so cute, err he’s back from New Zealand. See, he even posed for me!

When he introduced himself, and say “Hi, I’m AMOS.”
Then I asked, “How to spell?”
He replied… “A.M.O.S” very angmoh slang..
I did ask him to visit my blog, but i dunno if he put in mind o not, perhaps he might be thinking i must be kidding only lar..

From this attempt of XY chromosome, I have a conclusion, they won’t say no when taking fotos, but they will ask what is the purpose for. I need to do an explanations, but people hardly to understand what the heck is XY or XX.. so I ask them go back and read my blog instead of explaning so much. Haha..

Oh ya. Better get a blogger name card ready too! Haha.. sounds like big business.

There’s going to be another gathering for the Sibu bloggers and members of sibu. org tomorrow at the BCF2008. Anyone out there is free to join? If yes, please make sure you turn up okay?

Good Nite!

Think Twice, And Wise!

03

July

I can feel my shoulder pain, I stretched too hard during the Yoga. Grr.. Imagine Panda doing Yoga, it must be damn funny right? I should blog about my Yoga Session next time ;)

When I’m sorting out these picture, suddenly the picture of my mom come through my mind. How I wish i could just sit at home, and food will be ready serve to me. I miss MIRI!!!! I miss Mom’s food!

I shouldn’t complain much here, cos Life in Sibu also quite good. At least, my bf take good care of me. I won’t get hunger *only when I wanna starve myself*, hehe, just one sms, the noodle will be ready in front of me. Ini majiam call princess life wokey??? Kakaka….

But to maintain this kind of princess life is not so easy when the cost of living keep increasing…
compare

We went to New Sing Kwong @ Jln Salim, Sibu last weekend, and replenished some stocks just in case the princess says hungry in the midnight. Blerk! I found out the price for instant noodles has increase so much!!
buy o not
I suddenly have a dilemma in choosing which noodle I should buy. As I’m going to buy a few packets, different brands, different flavors, I really have to calculate which is more value for money!

But think and think, *twice* why I become so calculative over the cents cents, and I never bother of the phone bills nor the money spent of cosmectics?? Oh ya, did I tell you I bought the ticket to Gold Coast? See, this is not a smart practice!

rm2
End up we taken the MiSedap 5’s RM3.20 , Maggie Pedas 6’s RM3.70 and we saw this, Mi Goreng pluz, 5 for RM2.00 only! This time I really did not think twice, but I grabbed 2 packets.

Total spent on instant noodles: RM 10.90 for 21 packets.

dillema
I used to buy Dynamo to wash my clothing. But when I see the price of one big bottle of Dynamo cost about RM20 stg.. I directly move my eyesight to the cheapest range of detergent. ;) Realistic!

I’ve chosen FAB over Dynamo. Just because of the price. 5kg packaging for RM 19.80. Guess can use it for months.. Sigh! Why i become so Aunty????

polka

Somehow, I’m totally a failure, bad consumer behaviour. I should have been wise enough, after all the calculative manner i did for the above, I went to the chiller and grab a can of drink, RM1.40. Harlow.. I think I really have to start to revise my financial control capabilities.

Another not so wise things i did, do you know why the Maggie Goreng Pluz sell at RM2 only? The reason is… it’s going to expire next month !!!!!

Please do not take me as example. It’s really a bad example!

dd=.=bb
This post conclude that I’m not smart enough, in other words, I’m not qualified to be an Aunty yet. Kakkaa.. So this princess is going to take her sleep now. Dreaming back to MIRI and eat Mom’s cooking! Yum Yum.. My tummy is calling my name.. Goolooloo~~~ GoodNite!

H2 Optical – Designer’s Brand Optic

02

July

When the rat turn into sleep mode, the cat will come *meow* around.. It’s another midnite post, but as promised to Jeff, I will blog about this exclusive shop of his. Kekeke…

Have you ever think that wearing a spectacles can be trendy as well? My eye sight has been perfect so far, I remember when I was kid, I cheat myself that I can’t see things clearly, in fact that was a reason for my mom to get me a pair of specs. But whenever I reach the optics, they will say, your eyes are well taken care off, so I don’t need to wear spec. Grrr….

mix designer brand

My reading habits are bad, reading under the dim lights, and watch tv at the nearest possible angle, what’s more I start playing computer since I’m 13 *cannot compare to kids nowadays*, see BengHui can even chat in MSN.. =.=”’  But Hey! My eyes are still perfect until today!

Some people wish badly if they don’t need to wear spec, that’s why contact lenses are invented. Nowadays, people even go for laser treatment, just like my sister in law, she says wearing spec is very troublesome so she is willing to spend few thousands for the laser operation. Without spec, she’s just equivalent to blind.

It Depends :)

But Hey, I never think wearing a spec is a hassle in my life, haha, of course, I’ve to put myself into your shoe, only then I can truly understand it. *HintHint* I got myself a non-degree spec, it only applies when I feel to change identity of the day. Kakaka..

212

Like I mentioned, wearing a spec can be in a trendy ways. Its applicable for UNISEX.

H2 Optical in Delta Mall, Sibu is one of the Dealer that brings these few designers brand to our lovely *wicked* Sibu market.

Honestly, If its not because I know the owner Jeff, I would never have chance to know more about all these designer’s brand. Few of the leading exclusive brands that Jeff deal with are 212 Carolina Herrera and Purificacion Garcia. Each of the spectacles does have it’s own unique characristics and specialities.

212
This is one of the 212 Carolina Herrera’s design of New York.

Other than the light glasses it has, the mounting and frames are actually hand made and this is one piece colour pasted work. You wont see any bad edges, in fact it’s just so smooth.

Each of these design does come with their own uniqueness.
Notice the picture of me wearing the white frames above? That was actually Swarovski crystals pasted on the side. GawD! I shall claim 1 crystal from Jeff for posting this for him.

PG

Purificacion Garcia is from Spain.

I simply prefer PG, kind of my style, more on abstract, and I call it an art!!

Talk of uniqueness, I bet you do have experience of bumping into people who wear the same t-shirt as you. *Blush* Yes, that is the point I would emphasize, in fact all these designer’s brand productions are quite limited. And that’s for sure the probability to bump into the same person who wear the same spec is low! ;)
kswiss
K.Swiss of course from Swiss, but it’s furnish in Japan.

To some certain extent, K-swiss does have it’s special characristic, especially on the Nose Bridge. Look into the picture, don’t you think that the design is different from any others?
I found that K-swiss is more to elegant type, that’s suitable for those who don’t like to be too fancy, nor too artistic, then you can go for K.Swiss.

Hey, K-swiss is having a promotion now!!  Up to 50%!! Hurry Up!!!

You might be thinking, designer’s brand where would I afford to get it??? Com’n Jeff will definitely give you a special rate if you pay him a visit at his shop.

As per request by BengBeng, this time I showed up the handsome boss face. Jeff is the one in black striped shirt. This young man is very friendly, and keen to help out, this is the practice for young entrepreuner like us.

Who’s the handsome beside him? Hahaa.. I’ll tell you more next time.
dd=.=bb,

My eyes already half close, time to O.O ! If you happen to come to Delta Mall, must come visit me as well! I’ll be at my NOKIA shop most of the time.

Good Nite!

Bruneian BND0.53 , Malaysian BND1.18 = RM2.77

01

July

Another sleepy post.. but get your eyes open big big please! Thank you!

I’ve to admit, I’m willing to drive up to Brunei just for that BND 0.53 per litre of petrol, at the same time i can go KB – Kuala Belait to get some essential goods *cheaper in Brunei* and if got time, I can go Escapade eat Sushi~

But It was all past tense.

=Brunei Road Trips=
Kuala Belait is just a small town in Brunei. It was just a boring afternoon, so we drive up to KB, since its just 30-40 minutes away from Miri. *depends on what speed you drive, remember, if you get caught by the speed track, you gotta pay in BND ;)

rd trip
Mini the driver a.k.a Goolooloo *muaks*

donut

Here you go.. See the Shell Sign Board?

This is the nearest Petrol Station right after the Sg.Tujuh Immigration Check Point.

In other words, it attracts most of the Mirian to pump their fuel here before heading back to MIRI. What a brilliant ideas it used to be! In the olden days, there’s totally no restriction of how much fuel you can pump, that was when the price differences wasn’t that contrast.

And right after the 1st time petrol hike in Malaysia, they’ve controlled the limit, where Malaysian Car can only pump up to BND10. You might think, har only BND10, worth meh?? After some calculations, it is still worth just to go up to pump your petrol and back to MIRI.

BND10 = 10*2.36 = RM 23.60 = 18.86 ltr!!

Let’s say in Malaysia, even its before price hike.
RM23.60 / 1.92per ltr = 12.29 ltr only!!!

And now after price hike
RM23.60 / 2.70per ltr = 8.7 ltr ONLY!!!!

Brunei Government not sleeping wokey???
They have been kind enough subsiding blindly to us for so many years. and now its time to roar back!
In order to stop Malaysian enjoying the BND0.53 privilege, the Brunei government has set the new price for us !! BND1.18 = RM2.77, 7 sen more expensive than Malaysia. Ever since that, there’s no longer long queue at the petrol station. =.=

This is a Realistic World. Hehe..

mirror
Hi, see who’s in the side Mirror?

Somehow, people like us who still like to go anywhere, anyplace main main.. will still go ahead to waste some petrol. Somehow, the 1st shopping attempt was fail, due to some stupid reason, and we return to Miri with emptry hands. Wuwuwu…

*Really go makan angin only*

photo taking
I wind down the window *to makan more angin*, mumbling to myself, and caught these few people doing strange things.

A man and a woman are talking by the road side, and the man in red is taking picture of them. So, curiousity brings me to take a picture of them instead! Hahaha!!! Hmm, mebi he’s also a blogger?

single tree
The single and dry tree

sky
Reach Miri in the evening time.. the sky are so nice..

i drive
Since the 1st attempt was fail, so we go for 2nd attempt in the next morning!

This time, goolooloo is the F2 driver. By normal procedure I have to fill in all those forms, and then the custom officer ask for my phone number, stupidly i thought it was a new must procedure, after a second thought, then only i realize, he was flirting! Grrrrrrrrrrr! Buat kerja kamu la!

donut

lomo

2nd attempt was very succesful indeed, and all money spent.
I went to a few supermarkets in KB to hunt for some imported goods for my Koko Biz. Honestly, it’s still cheaper in Brunei eventho after the price hike issues. As I buy in bulk, plus and minus, it’s still worth for a simple road trip!

Left BND3 for the toll fees.

Before leaving for Miri, I manage to get my LOMO to the beach, guess what time was that?

look at sea

Its 12 noon.
Poor Mini, she’s overcooked under the hut.

And I was still there photo shooting!

hot ah nee

See her facial expression, imagine that was real HOT.
Driver not ready to go, so you be patient ok?

We are suppose to drop by Escapade Sushi for a *light meal*, somehow as my mom need to use car, so I have to rush back to surrender the car. Quite a regret that I did not make it, cos I understand that it’s hardly to persuade friends to go Brunei since petrol price increase, they would rather stay home and save money. =.= Just like how realistic like Eet was, he told me that he won’t fetch me anymore due to price increase :( Honda City fuel saving what, don’t be so stingy la!

dd=.=bb

Sibu Bloggers! Wanna organize a road trip all the way to Brunei?????
STP, Escapade have the best sushi , big portion, and reasonable price!!!!!
Please feedback, cos silence is neither denying nor accepting~ hahahah!!!
