My in-self server was down again. Sigh. So, BRB!

Before i could start blogging about Zaika, I ‘m so sorry for the downtime of the server, finally I can resume daily blogging. Feels like something missing, haha.. ya my SAHAM definitely turun for the 2days downtime. So let’s go to Zaika!!!

ZAIKA. The Indian Cuisine restaurant which sells Authentic Indian’s food.

This is rarely to be found, but yes, it is now open in MIRI and it’s just located at Boulevard Commercial Center. *Above Frantini’s Restaurant*

He sit beside me while I blog and request me to put in this photo. Hahaha… Kids nowadays damn rich, go makan Zaika earlier than me. Wuwuwuw…

Out of the blue, we visited Zaika few days ago.. the interior design of Zaika does give me a surprise. Its looks grand and comfy under the dim light.

However being the first timer here, of course I wish to cover up something to blog for this Indian Restaurant. And their staffs are very friendly. The captain, Mr.Rainer show me around and introduce me the other staffs.

I was inside their kitchen. The chef showed me how the Tandoori Chicken was prepared. Hmm, ok that is what I’ve ordered anyway. Kekeke..

And the dough he is holding is to make the “Naan”, kind of bread.

Alright, here comes the 3 difference sauces and some kind of crackers.

While waiting the other 2 to come.. we eat the crackers first lo.

I’ve ordered my favourite drink, Mango Lassi.
But the named it as “Mem-Sahib”. A smooth cool yoghurt drink blended with Mango, served in unglazed earthenware jug. =.=

The other 2 gentlemen goes for Coke, cos they have no idea what should order.

However, Cacatkia was brave enough. He go for Agrezi Kiss, simply unique with the mixture of Lychee and Lime juice.

Time to talk about the food. Grr… very hungry already. Hehehe.. Finally my Tandoori Chicken is ready.

It’s just a BBQ chicken, but.. add with different spices so it taste slightly different.

There’s too much of choices for “Naan” but I really have no idea what should I go for. For safety purpose, we get teh Butter Naan. Hahaha.. Roti Canai in other words, but its slightly thicker.

Jerry had opt for the lamb, so he ordered Ra-Ra Gosht. Arrrgh, its so difficult to recall the name of the dishes. Anyway..its Super tender lamb cubes sizzle fried with tomatoes, onions, ginger and coriander. It taste awesome, especially to eat witht he NAAN.

And the final dish, also part of the Tandoori, which is made of FISH. They say it taste good, but i said it taste BAD. I can’t even finish the small little portion, what do you think?

Ok.. so my recommendation is, if you wish to try their food one day, remember to ask the captain what is the most wanted dishes. Those are listed on the top menu are usually the best. Trust me..

Ok la. To end, we have a group photo. Did you notice my smile was damnnnnn freak? I was having a terrible stomache! I dunno wat’s wrong, shouldn’t be the food as others are all fine. My bladder system got problem. Hahaha..

Yippeee. Amber is one month old. To celebrate her full moon party, her dad, my Bro, has made a Full Moon Party at my house 2 days ago.

As per Chinese Tradition or Foochow.. there will be a “thanks giving” meal by serving the guest some Foochow Noodle with Egg. But my Bro wants to make it MODERN ways.. hence we held a PARTY @ the house compound, and those who wanna eat Noodles can dine in the house. Brilliant Ideas.

It was supposed to be live broadcast… but Sorry for the late posting, I was too busy during the day time, but luckily I sempat lagi to post it in the forum.

As today I’m busy working at my shop in Boulevard, and I feel so annoyed with the information counter keep paging for the car owner of QMH 1988 and KP 4648. But when I listen clearly, the announcer was saying “this is URGENT MATTERS”. Hmm, so my curiosity brings me the the scene of the FIRE!

I search where the crowd was heading to, I followed. I was at the loading bay entrance of Boulevard Shopping Complex.. and all I can see is SMOKE.. and its freaking SMELLY!

Lots of people come out to “do live broadcast”.. the smoke came from the PAJERO QMH 1988.

While the Management of Boulevard keep paging for the car owner, but to no avail.. the management had gotten water pipes and fire extinguisher before the car get explode!!!

It was really a lucky escape for this car, this is the KP4648. He managed to remove his car just a second before the PAJERO was on FIRE. But pity him also.. they Black car has turn into GREY car…

Phew.. we should buy toto for 4648 instead of 1988

OMG.. its getting worst…

They are trying HARD to put off the fire…with the limited length of water pipe..

But luckily.. they are fast enough…

And they managed to put off the fire, hmm,  around 10minutes time..

Hence .. I dare dare to take a closer look.. since no more fire ma..

The security guard are still spraying the car with water.. and also using fire extinguisher.

Can you see.. the car is badly damaged?

This is my kepo friend.. Freeman. I tot i’m the most kepo.. but infact.. many many people did the live broadcast using their “mobile phones”.

Hmm.. just to make it more surreal.. I cried on behalf of the car owner!

I really wonder where is the car owner, as the Information Counter has been repeating in 3 languages paging for this car owner. Sigh! First time I hear the Information Counter page in MANDARIN ley!!!  I believe the car owner is a Chinese.. cos the paging end after the Mandarin Version of announcement.

The moral of this story..
If you you have this kind of car at home, make sure you check your car is in proper condition. Else.. you might end up like this pity car owner.

Oh ya.. Next time when go shopping, please pay attention to the announcement from the Information Counter.

Yada yada.. there’s no more secret.. as I’m eating at the 1st and newly open SECRET RECIPE in MIRI.Hmmm that serves Fine Quality Cakes…

There’s no longer a secret liao since everyone in town is talking about it!

Its comprises of 2 shop lots, which looks quite spacious and their furnishing are quite comfy!

However, due to the overwhelming response from Mirians and Bruneians to its new opening, end up they have got some “bad” comments spreading around instead of good one.

Chef Mini, who came back from Brunei and I (I was in Brunei the same day too, Blerk!)  went there last Sunday to try reveal the Secret behind their Recipe. However.. it seems like we have disappointment more to exitement.

I don’t have much appetite, so I think I would probably indulge some cakes which is not so filling. Hence, I wish to get some opinion from the Waitress. I talked to the young girl in English, she replied to me in Mandarin telling me all the cakes are nice. o.O Anyway.. Nee suggest me to take Marble cake. So i seconded it!

Alright, back to the cake, honestly… I wanted to say … THE CAKES ARE REALLY DELICIOUS!!!!!!!! hmm.. it’s daily airfreighted from KL, of course NICE la… over the mountain, over the sea.. and reach MIRI … and … eaten by me! hahahaha…

As for Chef Mini, she ordered the Tom Yum noodle. I’ve warn her not to expect too much, somehow… the result is.. like expected lo!

She don’t really fancy the taste, and I keep saying RM14 very expensive must finish… end up the very handsome and super good guy Kurap Eet help her to finish the noodle.

But hey..
He has something to say!

He was kind of pissed off by the waitress / waiters, as he has been sitting there for quite sometime and no one wanted to take order from him even he has call and waive for a few times. =.= That is why…. he ended up finishing ahNee’s portion. Hahaha…

The meal was on me, to welcome the return of Nee and Eet.. haha.. RM36.25. This is consider “high-end” dining.

Would love to go back again for their cakes as i clearly understand I should give them more room for improvement as they are newly open and might lack of experiences. I do wish their business can sustain, or else I would have miss another good place to hangout in Miri.

Secret Recipe, anyone???

Today’s XY XX chromosome presents you a new XX friend of me, -PEI- , a very young and outgoing characteristic girl. She’s the popular demand of Mc.Net, popular in a way of her friendliness that makes everyone feel good tobe her friend.

This is PEI. Sweet right? She’s still studying in TARC pursuing her accounting.

We are supposed to meet her at RexBox on Saturday, but many of us could not make it, so we make another gathering for her the other night. There we go, they had a buffet dinner earlier at Cafe Rosita and I join them later at the Coco’s.

This is the first time I visit Coco’s. Its located at Krokop 10, just next to Nikko Japanese Restaurant. The ambience is really nice, its not too crowded and the sofa is so comfortable.

Aiyak.. goolooloo camwhore again. Hehe. I know i look damn fat in this shirt. My buipak so obvious. Blerk!

Then.. of course with the Camwhore Queen, Florence! Hahahaha….

Dear Angel got an Illusion: Vodka, Blue Curacao, Midori, Cointreau & Pineapple Juice..
ALEX got me! The bloody Mary! Hahaha.. its little bit of vodka, tomato juice and…tobasco sauce!

Jerry ordered Caribbean Breeze that contains of Vodka, Cocunut Rum, Cranberry Juice and Pineapple Juice. Then he ordered another LIPSTICK which is highly recommended by the waitress. I do not know what it consist, but it taste horrible SWEET!

As for me.. I get another Pina Colada as i think I can’t afford to go around the world yet.. So i let it to KIMGO to go for me. Hahaha….

The night continues with crap talkings.. and camwhoring..

I forced the guys to have some idiotic shots as usual…  and Kimgo did the best!

I just realize its been quite sometime I’ve neglected my dSLR. Not to say photo outing, I guess I almost forget the model of my camera. Ooops, it should be Canon 40D! Hahaha..

Anyway, today I’ve receive the lens that I’ve ordered last week. A simple but nice lens, EF 50mm f/1.8 II. Trying out to do some B.O.K.E.H Photography.. which is quite fun to learn.
