This is the 1st ever customer from Miri holding the TuneTalk. The procedures are quite fun, just like buying some ToTo / 4D numbers. For me its seems like a game, switching number as I like, and it is just a few clicks!
Let me show you how it works..

The current numbers starts with either 010-52 /53 / 54.
The numbers you had chosen will shown on the screen, and follow by sequence.

Just as simple as 123, I’ve done my selection!

He did the registration online, and pick-up the Sim Card from us.
If you are not an active internet user, you might think all these are not user friendly. Nope, you are wrong. You may come directly to any of the TuneTalk’s dealer and buy a new number on the spot. The number will be given randomly once you activate your number. If you dislike the number, you may reject and key in 4digits of your desired number. By then the system will assign u a new number.

This is the number he picked and its activated!

P/s: Shhh.. if you don’t like the number you’ve chosen, you can change it online anytime!! It is so easy! But I bet no one would simply change their numbers unless he/she been stalked by someone.

NEWS RELEASE
TALK AND FLY WITH TUNE TALK
Company Sets Aside RM1 million for promotion
RM200 AirAsia E-Gift Vouchers each for Top 10 Callers Everyday!
PETALING JAYA, 26 August 2009 – Talking away on their new ‘010’ numbers have proven worthwhile for Tune Talk subscribers when they received RM200 AirAsia E-Gift Vouchers that can be redeemed for AirAsia domestic and international flights.
“The AirAsia E-Gift Voucher is given automatically if you are a among Tune Talk’s Top 10 users for the day. A notification is sent to your Tune Talk mobile number together with the voucher number and you can right away log on to AirAsia.com website to redeem the voucher for flights to your dream destinations,” said Jason Lo, CEO of Tune Talk Sdn Bhd.
He said the company has allocated over RM1 million for the year-long promotion. Non-Malaysians traveling into the country are also eligible for the promotion, he added.
Tune Talk officially launched its service on 19 August 2009, offering the lowest flat rate in the market.
“To qualify is very simple. You just need to subscribe to Tune Talk prepaid service and start talking. No questions asked. The system will tabulate the Top 10 callers everyday and they will be notified the day after,” explained Lo. However, this only applies to calls to any operator within Malaysia, and does not include IDD calls.
AirAsia flies to over 70 destinations in South East Asia, China, India, Australia, Sri Lanka, Taiwan, Bangladesh, the Middle East and Europe.
On top of the AirAsia E-Gift Vouchers, all Tune Talk subscribers will also be enjoying a RM100,000 Personal Accident coverage from Etiqa Insurance, the insurance partner of Tune Talk.
“Tune Talk is the only prepaid mobile service provider that offers this kind of benefits and privileges in the market. This really sets us out from the rest,” said Lo, adding that subscribers also have the option of changing their numbers anytime.
Operating as a mobile virtual network operator (MVNO) riding on Celcom (Malaysia) Berhad’s 2.5G network, Tune Talk offers a no-frills voice and short messaging service (SMS) package that meets the consumers’ demand for a simple, value-for-money product with easy accessibility and widest distribution reach.
“Running on Celcom’s network means Tune Talk gives its subscribers maximum coverage nationwide as well as full roaming on the back of Celcom’s current roaming arrangements overseas. In future Tune Talk subscribers should look at enjoying a better roaming proposition as well as local call rates when traveling within Asean countries when our MVNO arrangements in Singapore, Indonesia and Thailand among others materialise,” said Lo.
Tune Talk charges a flat rate of 22 sen per minute for calls to any operator in Malaysia, while an SMS costs 5 sen each. Its IDD rates are around 10 % cheaper than other operators.
Tune Talk starter SIM pack retails at RM5 preloaded with RM5 worth of talk time.
Tune Talk subscribers can reload via e-Pay, reload vouchers at over 10,000 dealers nationwide and Tune Talk website http://www.tunetalk.com.
