Now Everyone Can’t Fly

18

May

I know I know, its ZERO FARE, sure congest so don’t complain.Right?

Do you know why the DAP in SIBU wins the battle? Its because the know what the people wants. Hence they win their votes.

Now the case, why does it relates to Elections again?

Same thing, nowadays if its not Air Asia then go for MAS.

People loves to make comparison, thats human nature, you can’t stop it.

Anyhow, I still love Air Asia. I mean there’s no harm in competitive market, at least they will do something better to serve us better. Right?

Dato Tony
also loves all his supporter, hence he wrote on his Facebook page, ask us to be patient. Hmmm… I bet this is not the first time we read such msg. Ok, nevermind you don’t have a google – like server, but I bet you should have a lot of brilliant IT support at the back right?

aa cant fly

Now, why make a fuse here? Why Everyone Can’t Fly?

Don’t get me wrong, it wasn’t me who think of this Slogan, its Air Asia’s fan who came out with such slogan. And I think it rhymes well.

Betul tak?

red wallpaper
Are you familiar with this page? This is the new Air Asia’s wallpaper. Damn Cool with lots of XXX. If newbies, might tot this is a 18sx rated site. Ohmygawd!

Disappointment. Very disappointed.

The truth:

I’ve got my tickets. I spent 3 hours include searching , booking and payment.

How I did it?

I was there at Air Asia web page, waiting for the promo to launch too.

We have discussion with the travel mates along while distributing the search job too.

It ended up all went to sleep at 2 am cos it totally can’t move.

Hence, I turn on my alarm at 5am so that I could avoid the traffic jam.

5am to 8am. Do you really everyone afford to spend the time like this?

The asnwer is NO.

Oh yea, since i got my free tickets why am i making so much noise here??

I am here, not only for the zero fare. I am here to lodge a complain to Air Asia, to Dato Tony, that I actually wanted to buy ordinary fares too. But I can’t even search as usual. And this is urgent case, as they need to book tickets for a meeting. Partially I’ve booked it with MAS, but still I wanna give AA a chance!

Stop showing me this, I will throw eggs at your office later! I mean it!

IMHO

I think the next time if you wanna avoid this kind of complains, maybe you should have another gateway for special promo. At least your loyal customer won’t piss off like now.

Aiya, AA so big no need to hear my feedback la..

Betul juga, then this is my blog, and I am AA fans, I think I have the right to voice out too!

Dear Dato Tony,

I’m sorry If I ever offended you. But please la, tak ada complain mana ada maju? Right? Heheh, so I sincerely hope, you go and lecture your IT supports, brainwash them, do some BETTER improvement.

Thank You very much.

Your AA Loyal Supporter,

Mary Goolooloo =)

Biting Nails for i-phone!

17

May

Ok, if you followed my Facebook, I bet you know that I’ve put a bet with Alex that if DAP wins, he’ll get me an i-phone. Seriously, the chances for DAP to win is really 50/50. Its not that I’ve no confidence with them over this Sibu bi-election, its just the opposition ( i mean BN)  always ended up with so much dirty tricks.

DAP

Halleluyah, Rocket flies, Sibu Kampua taste even better now with the DAP. Of course, the main deal is , I got an i-phone. ;) wink wink!

I need to do a proper research before I really commit to any installment plans for 24months. His money = My money. Its not that the digi or the maxis going to give me for FREE. So I better think 50x before I really say YES to i-phone.

Make it short. I’ve done a few comparison for I-phone 3gs 16gb. Installment & contract for 24 months. Voice + Data plan.

  1. From iDigi- i88 = RM 159 per month.
  2. From Maxis, ivalue 1:  its gonna be RM158 per month.

From what we see here, its quite affordable. But when you think of the contracts for 24 months.. its gonna be a nitemare for me. And from what I research, even after the contract finish, I still have to pay for the phone. By the time I finish paying the phone, the i-phone already become ipon!

Then what you want le? So mafan?

That’s why I’m biting nails lo, I don’t want to port to Maxis or Digi. Its not the matter want or not, its the matter good or not la.

Then should I buy AP sets , which they offer for RM2400 (as at 17May2010). This deal sounds better, but hor, AP sets, would it cost me 2 days go clinic, 3 days go hospital? Still thinking…

And last, a good friend of mine, says, “Digi got people selling out set only for RM22xx“. That sounds lagi interesting!Really ma? How true is that? I don’t think there will be someone to sell out at such low price.

At last.

I’ve finish biting nails, I made a decision. NOT to BUY.

Reasons:

  • I have my Blackberry , serving me well, and doesnt cost me a cent.
  • Phone bills are subsidies by company.
  • I can’t really rely on touch screen when I need to do so much emailing everyday.
  • It was just the devil call, ignore it. Lifes goes on without I-phone!
  • Iphone 4g is coming sometime in July, why not just wait and 3gs will have better deal?

The end of the story, although I wanted to have an iphone, but thats just a certain temptation after seeing most of the people are carrying one.  So cut of all the temptation, save money, go travel, pay housing loan, car loan, that will be more practical eh?

Spoon Feed

14

April

Come, che-che feed you eat mummum.. nom nom nom…

This is call spoon feed.

With a spoon ready there, is not enough.

When we were baby, we were fed by our parents. In school fed by teachers, In college fed by the lecturer.  Now, in working life, we have to spoon feed our subordinates.

Certain people at certain age probably need to be fed, but when you’re mature enough, don’t play play, the one who feed you will lost his/her patience.

Baby, you such a good boy!

At least this Baby know how to appreciate and return a cute smile. Not like the one I fed, only know how to grumble and complains but no improvement!

If you are the one who being feed, then better be wise, learn to appreciate. Especially in this crucial society, you are slow, you are out!

And if you are the one who feed people, then you just have to be patient. Give them more chances, and the worst case, write a rant post!

I believe I would be able to feed them till full, without any leftover! Gotta work hard!

#@!$@%@!$@%@$@$#!#@#@
Enough of ranting, good nite.
Over stressed with my job.
Turning into crazy mode.

Girl’s Nite Out

12

April

It has been quite sometime I did not join in my own group of friends for any occasion. Probably I have to travel between Sibu and Miri that makes me feel like Chipsmore, now you see, now you don’t.

I just arrive Miri and receive a msg from Yen saying that we are going to celebrate birthday for our big sista, Pris. I’m happy to receive this msg, although I’m not feeling well, I still say YES.

We arrange the dinner at Double Star Cafe, for its ambiance, food and service, I always choose to go there for any simple occasion. It was Pris treat, and we bought her some gifts. Nothing exclusive, but the heart counts.

Meet Priscilla.
I bet those who are Air Asia’s frequent traveler would know who is she.

Oops, we only get her a small cake, economy merosot ma! No la, its not good for girls to have too much glucose. :p So just let her indulge alone. Still she forced us to share with her. =)

Yen and Pris.
Yen has been on diet plan, she manage to cut down a few kg and still on going. Thumbs up for her!

Oh that’s Pris and me, trying to molest my boobs!

Hmm, this is Yen and I.
I look quite sick. =(

It was a great girl’s nite out, and hope that to have this kind of outings more often. Glad to see you all in good shape, and Ami, you should start diet together with me!

Maswings – Mana Ada System?

25

November

Noticed that Maswings are doing promo lately. I’m talking about Maswings, subsidiary of Malaysia Airlines which take cares of Sabah and Sarawak’s inbound flight.

First they’ve monopolized the market, control all the ticket prices which is way more expensive. It may be expensive than going  oversea compare to some other airlines.

Take a very short examples for Miri to Sibu which I fly most. They used to come out something like Maswings Prepaid, which for me back then the fare is still acceptable although it is still quite expensive which is RM90 for one way. But okay, at least its less than RM200 which still not equivalent to air ticket to KL by using Air Asia. But then, they’ve stop it, and implement something new.

For now, the ticket price normally starts from RM138 onwards exclude of Taxes. For a return flight, the minimum I’ve to spend would start from RM280. If I book within a week, the ticket price would hike up to RM300 ++. Is that really reasonable for such a short distance and just flying in the ATR72?

Okay, that’s enough, I can’t say much, they’ve invest on the new ATR fleet. Since they monopolized the whole market, we, the people in Sabah and Sarawak need to pay more to fly! Fly nearer but pay more. This is totally unacceptable.

Can’t you come out something like budget airlines? Or give us more promotions?

Yes, they did actually, but its just another gimmick from them.

I saw this on Maswing’s facebook page. I’m really happy to see that Miri – Sibu are having offers for as low as RM12 one way. That’s really help me to save a lot of money and time. The truth is, the promotions are totally invalid. I’ve been clicking the whole schedule from 01Jan2010 till 30thJune2010. I didn’t see any! All started with RM138.

10122_190635146140_13751341140_4276374_2247183_n

Okay, assumed that the above promo are not ready, or they published wrongly which I totally can’t get it from their webs. That’s fine! ….

Dear Maswings,

Can you tell me what actually happened to your Malaysia Airlines’s System?? Ada problem kah? If you are unable to give good promo, then don’t give!

Your booking systems are not as good as other airlines. MAS ground staffs are mostly not helpful. Unless you know any of them, maybe its easier. The customer careline are always busy. If you have anything urgent, you just don’t hope they could assist you, I think you might have already drive to Airport and get everything settled.

I’m very disappointed with Maswings. I really hope they could have much more improvement over their marketing skills. Not to give empty hopes only. Please reduce your fare. Those in rural areas are those who need to fly more frequent. We in Sabah and Sarawak don’t have big highways that connect us to everywhere. If we have more and better options, I will not take flights. The truth is, that’s the most convenient way.

If you really want to serve the mass market, then you should be able to make everyone can fly with not much hassle.

So please!

Please be more considerate and love us, your customers more. I’ve been flying with you for ages even before you turn into Maswings.  Don’t you have any better deals for us?

Please make sure, your pilots won’t be as the picture below. Even if Free tickets it shouldn’t be in this way!

Thank you so much!

Your’s sincerely,

The knot is tied

23

November

Has been idle for quite sometime, its really my bad. Lot’s of friend came and asked , “Hey you stop blogging kah?” , I feel ashamed to answer that I was too busy lately. That was not really an excuse, but just nothing much that I could bring up to blog again these days.

Both of my digital camera was sent to the hospital, one declared death and one is still under investigation. Anything related to life stories hardly to bring up here without a good picture.

Anyway, the one and only big news to share now is , The knot is tied. =)

Thanks for all the blessings and wishes from family and friends. I love you all ! Muaks!

Do you still read blogs nowadays?

15

October

I used to be a daily blogger, little bits of things must blog, no matter big or small. I thought that was my responsibilities as a blogger to blog whatever I like. Well Said, but due to my long working hours, I do feel that blogging actually spends me quite a lot of time. I need to have “ideas”, I need to have “pictures” in order for me to blog. The most important thing is, Do you still read blog nowadays?

I gotta admit, I rarely read blog ever since I’ve addicted to Facebook. Anyway, FB is a very successful lifetime interacting tools, which is fun enough to update, or to “kaypoh”. But don’t ever take things too seriously over FB cos you’ll never know who is reading or stalking you behind the screen. :)

No, I don’t like Twitters. So not to have further comments on it.

Goolooloo.com was once a most popular blogs of Miri Community but not in Malaysia. Seeing the other bloggers being nominates, I could only say their hard works paid off. This could never happen on lazy bloggers like me. Anyhow, my blog will remain. I’ll still update on my travelogue as usual but have to cut down all my travel plans due to my tight budget plans.

My next travel destinations will be on Sandakan. =) Domestic travel would be fun cos you don’t have to worry about the currencies difference or the language problem. Let’s have some fun with the “Orang Utan”!

I’ll be back! ;)
