A kid should be like this

08

August

I strongly believe kids nowadays are smarter, they expose more things compare to us in the old days, but still, I prefer cute and adorable kid just like this.

This is Eve or I prefer to call her En’En for her Chinese short name. She is Alex’s niece.

She’s smart enough to differentiate who is good and who is bad!
Its not easy to win a kid’s heart, especially En’En.

We bought her Vitagen and brought her to Pizza Hut.

Only by then, she start to get closer with us.

See her smile, so adorable right?
She likes to have outdoor activities, she is enjoying walking here and there at the relatives house..

Checking out the surroundings..

She’s pointing down the flowers..

Her favorite pose is High5.

I didn’t teach her, I bet it must be her mom who did that.
Hahah…

Alright times up!
Time to go home, she wanna go shh shh now!

Bye everyone….
I’ll come back again next time..

A kid should be like this, Don’t you think so?

UK Fun Fair

30

May

The school holiday has just begun. I can see many people balik kampung, and some are going vacations. Oh My! I’m going to have my vacation  next week too. Kekeke. Btw,  Selamat Hari Gawai for those who are celebrating. Minum Tuak manyak manyak okeh!?

So how would you spend this long weekend? Going out for a short trip or become a stay home babe, watching tv and reading blogs? As for the kids in Miri, I can feel that they are full of joy. That’s because the UK fun fair is here again. But it might be a headache for the parents cos its gonna burn their pocket soon!

Venue: Boulevard Carpark, MIRI
Entrance Fee: RM 2  (Free for kids below 3 years old)

My niece came and tell me, she want to go for the Merry Go Round. Kids nowadays.. 7 years old already know to request this and that.

I snap this picture from the entrance, it’s not I don’t want to be pay RM2, but I guess non of my friends would like to go there. Ahem, we are too old to play this.  I hope this is not the truth.  Haha.

If you have nothing much to do this holiday, then maybe should go and have some fun!
Happy Holiday! Selamat Hari Gawai! :)

How do you define Photogenic?

16

May

This is the official meet of Emilda and me. Supposedly we planned to go MIJF, but mission failed so we ended up in Siamese Secret.

We just ordered some finger food as it was quite late.

Siamese Specialties Pizza

and  French Fries.

My dSlr was with me. So I get the chance and snapped some portraits of  Emilda and bf. Ahem, make you more suspense.. read through the blog then you’ll know who is the bf. Kekeke.

This is Emilda. When I see from my camera screen, I said, “wow you look  great through the lens”.

Of course, cos I’m photogenic.

I agree with her. She looks physically attractive and she’s confidence with herself that really gives credits to her.

Her natural looks, plus her sweet smile that makes her looks even great and sexy!

Slrrrp! Sorry Emilda, I’m a bit horny here. Hahaha.

So who is the lucky fella who win this pretty’s heart?

This is Bongkersz… who keep on saying he looks fat from the lens.

He is so busy craving pizza! Huh!

But I think he looks fine. Don’t worry, the power of liquify is always good!

For me, the most important factors to be a photogenic are from the eyes and the smile.
So what how do you define a photogenic?

Country Patch Cafe – Kiulap.Brunei

11

May

It was supposedly a test.my.car day. So the 4 of us has decided to go test drive using the best road nearest to us. “Brunei Darussalam”. So, I gave a call to my friend, Nee, she invited us to visit her work place in Kiulap.

Honestly, this is my first time there. I really have no idea where is Kiulap, only know that it is part of Brunei and it is located near Gadong. Nee showed us the direction, and we successfully reach this little eatery place.

Country Patch Cafe. :)

My dearest friend, Ms. Kong or Chef Mini

It has been quite some time that I say I will visit her some day, and as usual the some day will become infinity, zzz.  And since today is the day, so let’s try out what my Chef Mini ’s cooking. ;)

The ambient of this cafe looks great, suits its name, Country style. I can see that the entrepreneur put lots of efforts in decorating the cafe, to make it looks more comfy. It does make me feel like my ideal home.

So let’s enter with a Happy Heart. I’m sure the combination of food and environment will make it a pleasure meal~!

From the front entrance, there’s some non-air conditioned dining place.

Equipped with tv for entertainment, and also the outlet’s newspaper review.  Oh ya, there’s free Wi-Fi also~

The decorations were collected by their entrepreneur from all over the world.
The hibiscus paint is very eye catching. She carried all the way back from Thailand.

The welcome drink, a glass of warm water which is very heart warming.

Forks and spoons were served appropriately inside a small tray.

We tried out some juices, which it looks quite tempting to us.
This is red velvet, which taste of blackcurrant.

And this,  this should be POP juice.

We have fries as our finger food. At the back,  So sour – combination of green apples and other fruits juice

I had Beef Spaghetti Carbonara

Spagethi Marinara. Fresh Seafood.  Thumbs up says Alex.

Lamb Chop for MuhHwa

Chicken Chop with Rice for ahLong

What about some Cheese Cake for appetizer?

We enter with a happy heart, and dine with a happy heart too. Laughters is the best medicine.  :)

It is because their staffs and Ms. Elyn, the entrepreneur are always friendly.
Let’s  take a look at the surrounding.

It’s full of customers although its almost 3pm.

Everyone seems so enjoying…

and chit chatting after food..

Alex and I do likes the food very much too!

MooMooland and gangs are here too

Dino also here… watching over the Tea Boxes

and the Teddy sitting there celebrating life..

Country Patch open daily from 7.30 am to 9.30 pm.
Well, its worth to try out and i know you’ll love it too.

*This is not an advert, I post this for my friend, Mee Nee. We enjoyed the meal so much. Thank you very much!

Gold Coast – I saw Koalas and friends…

02

May

This is the 2nd day of our trip.
Australia tourism board are doing lots of promotion activities through many channels.

As our trip to the theme parks will fall on the 3rd and 4th day, hence we decide to get some information from the hotel receptionist. It is glad that one of the young men there are please to help us.

Supposedly we plan to visit Brisbane for a day trip, but the guy told us that it would just see nothing other than the skyscrapers. True enough. He introduced us to visit Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary, and since from the TV advert it seems quite fascinating, and given discount for tourist.

So why wait, for sure I’ll grab the chance to meet the Koala Bears. We took the local bus which will stop right in front of the sanctuary.

Passed! I’m entering the Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary of Gold Coast, Australia.
The admission fee AUD$21 , discounted price for tourist.

Get set go, right after the entrance, there will be a mini train service that will bring us around the park. The train will stop at the sub station, and tourist are free to enter the park they wish.

Stop #1 Koalas

Wake up!!! Why are you so lazy?

Nebermind! I saw another one here, but its quite far..

I borrow the lens from Yen, her new gun, 200mm and zoom nearer.
This koala looks cute also leh, but a bit “juling”?

Another arrogant koala! Cis!

What is this Koala doing? Hugging the tree only?

Oh, he is hugging the tree trying to eat the leaves. What a naught koala…

Ok, one last shot. The Sleeping King! WAkakakakkaa..

Its EMU. Credit to my dear, he taught me one. =.=

Stop #3

Dead or Alive?

Ya! I’m entering the Kangaroo zone.
This is the first time I have body contact with Kangaroo. We can feed the Kangaroos as long as we buy the feeds from them. Haha, I even hugged the Kangaroos.

Hmm, why does he looks so old? Maybe she’s the Grandma.

Here comes the Grandpa?

The mother playing the baby Kangaroo

and the Baby sleep inside the mother’s pocket.

The father busy cleaning his little brother.. ahem.

And the young one resting and jumping around.

Isn’t that cute?

Stop #4

This is duck la,…according to my dear. Another lesson learned.

The pigeon. This one i know.

What an Iguana? Sorry I hate reptiles…

Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary is home to one of the world’s largest collections of Australian Animals featuring over 1400 individual animals from over 200 species! But why am I only featuring these few types? Its because I’m lazy to discover more.

I did took some great Bokeh for the wildlife flowers..

Ah Yen inside the train…

Lunch: AUD$9
Local Bus fare : 0 (fare included in the 5 days transport pass)

Crocs should be dirty!

23

March

Some random shots from the garden.
Found out the very eye-catching item neglected in the garden, there were two pairs of Crocs Sandals.

These are real pair, genuine, not ciplak, crocs sandals.
It’s not mine, dun say i show off.. but it belongs to my nephew, Alvin.
He might be the very first few in Miri who wore this kind of sandals, while everyone will look at him like an alien. The sandals was bought by his mom from Singapore back in 2006.

The demand for Crocs sandals are increasing year by year, it’s a trend nowadays.  But it doesn’t apply to my dad.My dad wont appreciate Crocs.  For him it’s just a pair of colorful rubber shoes. He modified the shoes and became his gardening shoes.

Can you spot the difference?
My dad actually took off the strap at the back and found it easier to wear. The truth is, my dad don’t even know the value of the Crocs sandals. Can’t blame him at all. Even the dogs takes it as a toy, bite it here and there.

Truthfully saying, crocs are really sustainable. Imagine, my dad wear it for gardening everyday, in the rain, in the mud, under the sun, it still looks good other than a little bit dirty. Ain’t that crocodiles are all very dirty??

Alvin can’t response much after seeing his sandals turned into dirty crocs. But it’s really a waste, hmm, should I get this for my dad? At least its more economical, Rm9.90 only.. hahaha!

Beware of the guardians!
