Bruneian BND0.53 , Malaysian BND1.18 = RM2.77
01
July
Another sleepy post.. but get your eyes open big big please! Thank you!
I’ve to admit, I’m willing to drive up to Brunei just for that BND 0.53 per litre of petrol, at the same time i can go KB - Kuala Belait to get some essential goods *cheaper in Brunei* and if got time, I can go Escapade eat Sushi~
But It was all past tense.
=Brunei Road Trips=
Kuala Belait is just a small town in Brunei. It was just a boring afternoon, so we drive up to KB, since its just 30-40 minutes away from Miri. *depends on what speed you drive, remember, if you get caught by the speed track, you gotta pay in BND

Mini the driver a.k.a Goolooloo *muaks*

Here you go.. See the Shell Sign Board?
This is the nearest Petrol Station right after the Sg.Tujuh Immigration Check Point.
In other words, it attracts most of the Mirian to pump their fuel here before heading back to MIRI. What a brilliant ideas it used to be! In the olden days, there’s totally no restriction of how much fuel you can pump, that was when the price differences wasn’t that contrast.
And right after the 1st time petrol hike in Malaysia, they’ve controlled the limit, where Malaysian Car can only pump up to BND10. You might think, har only BND10, worth meh?? After some calculations, it is still worth just to go up to pump your petrol and back to MIRI.
BND10 = 10*2.36 = RM 23.60 = 18.86 ltr!!
Let’s say in Malaysia, even its before price hike.
RM23.60 / 1.92per ltr = 12.29 ltr only!!!And now after price hike
RM23.60 / 2.70per ltr = 8.7 ltr ONLY!!!!
Brunei Government not sleeping wokey???
They have been kind enough subsiding blindly to us for so many years. and now its time to roar back!
In order to stop Malaysian enjoying the BND0.53 privilege, the Brunei government has set the new price for us !! BND1.18 = RM2.77, 7 sen more expensive than Malaysia. Ever since that, there’s no longer long queue at the petrol station. =.=
This is a Realistic World. Hehe..

Hi, see who’s in the side Mirror?
Somehow, people like us who still like to go anywhere, anyplace main main.. will still go ahead to waste some petrol. Somehow, the 1st shopping attempt was fail, due to some stupid reason, and we return to Miri with emptry hands. Wuwuwu…
*Really go makan angin only*

I wind down the window *to makan more angin*, mumbling to myself, and caught these few people doing strange things.
A man and a woman are talking by the road side, and the man in red is taking picture of them. So, curiousity brings me to take a picture of them instead! Hahaha!!! Hmm, mebi he’s also a blogger?

The single and dry tree…

Reach Miri in the evening time.. the sky are so nice..

Since the 1st attempt was fail, so we go for 2nd attempt in the next morning!
This time, goolooloo is the F2 driver. By normal procedure I have to fill in all those forms, and then the custom officer ask for my phone number, stupidly i thought it was a new must procedure, after a second thought, then only i realize, he was flirting! Grrrrrrrrrrr! Buat kerja kamu la!

2nd attempt was very succesful indeed, and all money spent.
I went to a few supermarkets in KB to hunt for some imported goods for my Koko Biz. Honestly, it’s still cheaper in Brunei eventho after the price hike issues. As I buy in bulk, plus and minus, it’s still worth for a simple road trip!
Left BND3 for the toll fees.
Before leaving for Miri, I manage to get my LOMO to the beach, guess what time was that?

Its 12 noon.
Poor Mini, she’s overcooked under the hut.
And I was still there photo shooting!

See her facial expression, imagine that was real HOT.
Driver not ready to go, so you be patient ok?
We are suppose to drop by Escapade Sushi for a *light meal*, somehow as my mom need to use car, so I have to rush back to surrender the car. Quite a regret that I did not make it, cos I understand that it’s hardly to persuade friends to go Brunei since petrol price increase, they would rather stay home and save money. =.= Just like how realistic like Eet was, he told me that he won’t fetch me anymore due to price increase
Honda City fuel saving what, don’t be so stingy la!
dd=.=bb
Sibu Bloggers! Wanna organize a road trip all the way to Brunei?????
STP, Escapade have the best sushi , big portion, and reasonable price!!!!!
Please feedback, cos silence is neither denying nor accepting~ hahahah!!!

If I am not mistaken, the mentally-ill PM said before that the fuel price will be hiked this August and he hiked the fuel price on June! Brace yourself for this August. Pray that the mentally-ill PM will not hike the price again!
